Orders and Shipping

What is my order status?

After placing your order you will receive an email with you order status.Shortly after, when your order has been packed, you will receive another email with your track and trace information so that you can track your parcel.

When do I receive my parcel?

Depending on your location, the parcel takes 2-5 working days to arrive at yours.

How much does shipping cost?

All orders with a value of over 50.- € include free shipping. Order with a value below 50.- € cost 4.99 € in shipping.

Do you deliver to business addresses?

You can choose at the checkout whether you want your parcel delivered to your home address or a business address. Be sure to include both the business name and your own name on the parcel, in case you choose delivery to a business address.

How do you ship the shoes?

We send all private and business deliveries with GLS.

Why does bisgaardshoes.com not ship to the US/Canada?

Unfortunately, we do not offer overseas shipping at the moment. Shoes for children have to fit perfectly, and that being the case, children's shoes are some of the products that are returned most commonly, when bought online.

Shipping from our base in Denmark and possibly receiving a return from overseas, the costs of shipping would be in no relation to the smaller price of the shoes, and would make any return from outside of Europe too expensive.

Furthermore, the environmental impacts of shipping and returning shoes overseas is too large for us to justify shipping shoes in smaller quantities to the US, Canada, Australia or other nations outside Europe.

Exchange and returns

Can I return my order?

Of course, you have full 14-day right of return.

Can I exchange to another size?

It is possible to choose another size. Simply use the return label that you find in the box together with the shoes to return the shoes to our warehouse. Once the shoes arrive at our warehouse, a return fee of 4.99 € is automatically deducted from your refund.

You can also send the parcel to our warehouse without using the label included. If you choose to do so, please send the parcel to the address you find on the return label in your parcel. Please also note the order number that is part of the return label so that we can identify your parcel. Please note that until the parcel arrives at our warehouse, you are responsible for the condition and whereabouts of the shoes. Therefore, and because it is the cheaper option for you, we recommend using the attached return label.

The new shoes can be ordered directly on our website.

When do I get my money back?

After receiving your parcel, it can take up to 5 days until the amount arrives on your account. This delay is partially caused by handling in our warehouse and by delays that banks have in transferring money.

    Security and personal data

    How is my information handled?

    Any personal information that you enter on this website is treated carefully and confidentially. Information is never shared with unauthorised third parties and you always have the option to see any personal data that is collected.

    You will not receive any advertising, newsletters or other services, unless you have actively chosen to do so. 

    Any payment that goes through our website is validated externally through Shopify or PayPal. We never have access to your payment information and any other information that you have entered is only saved as long as necessary in order for us to fulfil your request.

    Size

    What size should I choose?

    In general we recommend not to go up or down a size, unless it is stated on the product. You can find the inside measures of each product on the product page to be certain that you choose the right size.

    Environment and sustainability

    Where are bisgaard shoes produced?

    The bulk of our kid's collection and all of the shoes in the women's project are produced in Portgual. This production is essential to us, as it reduces environmental impact caused through excessive shipping and also delivers ideal results in terms of quality.
